Dear Friends,
While it takes more than a few words to describe my Lacrosse Experience, there a few things I can tell you right away.
- If you come to camp with the right attitude, you will have fun and make new friends
- If you put forth a strong effort on the field and give us your full attention, you will leave camp a much better player than you were when you arrived.
- If you are new to lacrosse, have your stick in your hand as much as possible and watch high level lacrosse, and you will most likely fall in love with the sport. Once you practice the basic skills (passing, catching, scooping, cradling) on your own, the next step should be to attend a camp like mine that focuses on skill development.
- If you have been playing lacrosse for years, remember that you can always improve each facet of your game. Camp is a great place to experiment with new moves and turn your weaknesses into strengths.
When I was growing up, I attended as many camps as I could to improve my skills and knowledge of the game. If you are serious about lacrosse, you go to camp. And, best of all, camps are fun!
See you this summer,
Jesse Hubbard
